Eeeeeeeek!

I Got it !!!!

I've been away from here for almost a month because I've been so busy looking for a place in this crazy Toronto housing market.

I just finalized the sale transaction on this house today! It's small, but I love the trees in the front and back yard along with the quaint little neighbourhood. However, despite its size, I'm more than doubling my current space when I consider the basement.

It's very solid but needs renovations to the bathroom, kitchen and basement along with other technical things. However, none of that really needs to be done in the short order so I can take my time. Lucky Home Depot (our huge renovations store chain)!

I move in January 30th! .... oh and it's only a 15 minute drive to my workplace downtown.

Yay! Congrats and welcome to the money pit! I'm so happy for you. We know just the guy to help you with the renos. ;)

Email us the details, will you? I want to MLS it and see where you are.

Lesley! Congrats from me too! How exciting and your house is sooo charming. if the rest of the neighborhood is like that, I think I'm a bit jealous..hmmm ...but I'll get over it!

Home Depot gift certificates do make wonderful holiday gifts, don't they? We have the orange and white here, too. I get big ideas whenever we go there...so we don't go there too often. :P

Anyway, I'm so happy for you that you found a place. You might be surprised how soon you tackle some of those renos, especially with help being offered so freely! lol

Best wishes and happy packing!

LESLEY!

I am so happy for you! It's been a bit of a haul for you, I'm sure, but I think it's great.
You've been able to turn what could have been misfortune into fortune.

How many bedrooms?
Fireplace?
Is the basement finished in any way?
How many sq feet?
Were there any inclusions, such as fridge, stove, dishwasher, etc?
What's the lot size?

It's the real estate thing coming out in me...sorry...

You will enjoy it immensely, of that I am certain!

Hi Glen!

When's the housewarming?

Thanks for all the good greetings. The MLS # is: E1165217, but there are no interior shots. It's north of St. Claire E and West of Victoria Park.

How many bedrooms? Two + One quasi in the basement
Fireplace? Not yet
Is the basement finished in any way? half finished in an ad hoc way
How many sq feet? approx. 800 sq ft. (not including basement)
Were there any inclusions, such as fridge, stove, dishwasher, etc? yeah, but they suck. I'll need to replace them.
What's the lot size? 32 X 100

Don't know when the housewarming is. Maybe I'll include that with a painting party (lol).

Hi Glen, I may need some kitchen cabinet expertise from you! I'm also excited for you to see it too. I hope to have many pix for XMas.

Lesley, warmest congratulations, you did it! It looks great, and it's fine if there are things to do - it means you can put your own stamp on it and don't feel obliged to live someone else's dream. Go you!
