Thank goodness for Spring
I've been busy, but spent time today weeding my lawn and doing renovations to a basement room. Here's a picture of my front lawn, underneath the wonderful pine tree.
Here's my backyard - a mixture of mud and weeds!
And here's my basement room, in the midst of renovations.
Hi! The front and back yard look great, and green. Ok, so lots of renovations to do, but that is part of the fun, right? It will be beautiful, I look forward to the pics, so exciting. xox
Hi Lesley, I saw this earlier today but didn't have time to leave a comment, so back I came. YOur garden(s) look lovely...soooo much you can do with them. I have become a bit obsessed with gardening myself lately now I've got my cottage in the country, so your back garden looks like heaven to me!
That spare room must be a challenge ;-) Quite a project you've got there! Good luck with all the renovations, dear Lesley and enjoy your home. The neighbourhood that we can see from the photos looks charming!
Yes the red was under that faux panelling. Now I'm going to re-stud the walls, add insulation, do some ductwork for the rooms upstairs, add a sound barrier to the ceiling, add electrical to the room, put drywall on the walls, add a drop ceiling and flooring. In the end it'll be a good all purpose room.
Some of us dream about having a basement room ... or anywhere else to store stuff! What are your plans for the space, Lesley? Is it to be a living area, a hideaway, or an evil genius' lair? Or all three?
Passionate about music/singing and travel. I’ve travelled to 30+ countries on shoe-string budgets, lived in France, trained my voice and sing: jazz, rock and classical. Love each one for their differences and challenges.
Today much of my learning comes from travelling and appreciating cultures. I believe all should travel to see how others live elsewhere. While we have different faiths, foods etc., essentially we’re the same. Peace to us all!

Your place is so green!
I remember the photos of when it was so white!
It also looks like you have your work cut out for you.
Nothing like a good project to keep one focussed and out of trouble.
Have fun!
xx

So that's what the yards look like! I think I only ever saw them white. :)
Is that red wall what was underneath all that faux panelling? What are you going to do with the room?

Wow, Lesley, is that ALL you're going to do?....;-)
