A spring spree - A girl thing

Today I had to go out and do groceries and get a photo done for a project I'm working on. On the way back I passed a new location of a shoe store that I used to go to all the time. I've been on the hunt for a new purse so I decided to drop in....... Now I'm poor ....

Here's why:

The good news is that it's a discount shoe store so I was able to get these authentic designer purses (not that I care about the label - just the quality) and leather shoes for a fraction more than I would have paid for that brown purse at a department store like The Bay or Holt Renfrew. (actually those red shoes are eel skin)

Now I have something to replace my "ratty" old purse when I go on interviews.

This is one of the reasons why I love Toronto!

Woohoo, now you are ready for that new job. Can any of those other 94 (!!!) applicants boast that they have eelskin red shoes and bowtie pumps? I think not.

poor schmoor... you will look FABULOUS!
Very nicely done... I am a bit of a shoe freak myself...
And just remember to walk into those interviews, with your new shoes and bag, with shoulders back and an attitude of, "I adore who I am and I am everything you need in an employee and more."
Because of course you are!

Wow...what shoes! You've struck my Achilles heel there, lesley. I love the Red ones...Eelskin huh? Actually the brown ones are pretty rare too...and won't you just feel great as you walk tall to those interviews! There's nothing like a new bag and some new shoes to make you feel on top of the world. Good luck dear!!

Thanks! Well now I know I'll need to wear some of the stuff because I've been called back for a second interview on one of the jobs. Red shoes, taupe bag ... here I come !!

Hey Stevie, should I give my answers in French or Italian?

I wore the red shoes today and everybody commented on them. I've never had such feedback on shoes before!

oh either or neither, just as long as you sound convinced of everything you say! And call people darling a lot! Or my pet... wait, that might be going too far...
lol!
Be your own amazing self, the one I met at Dale's, and anyone worth anything will recognize all the qualities you possess.
I do really like those red shoes... can you imagine, you, me and Val on a shoe shopping spree?
There could be injuries...

Very nice!

When I got my current job, I was wearing a new pair of heels and carrying Randy's leather portfolio. Oh yeah, I also had my 'Lucky' (that's the brand) leather purse. It had made me poor a couple of weeks earlier!

You'll know when its right... just like shopping for shoes! Good luck on that second - and knock 'em dead!
